Jacob is out of the hospital and feeling great! His doctor gave him a clean bill of health. Jacob is back in Holland and doing well. He is hoping to extend his trip by another week or so to give him a chance to visit those he could not when he was in the hospital. Jacob and Dianna are scheduled to be back on Monday but hopefully he gets an extension to his departure.

I can’t believe all that hardware was in Jakes back and is now out. He is way lighter too. This is a reason to celebrate for sure. I am so relieved as are we all.

Zo, eindelijk even tijd om jou te schrijven! Hoe gaat het met jou, je familie en natuurlijk je rug?
Op dit moment zijn Francisca en ik nog op vakantie, op de terugreis dus. We zijn dit jaar niet zo ver van huis gegaan.
We zijn in de Vogezen in Frankrijk geweest, ongeveer 750 km van Huizen.
Beiden waren we erg moe na alle toestanden in de familie, begrafenis enzovoort. We hadden afgesproken een
Rustige, lees maar, luie recover vakantie, haha en dat is tot nu toe prima gelukt!
Een paar weken geleden had ik je beloofd nog wat foto’s van onze nieuwe caravan te sturen, die vind je bijgevoegd.
Het is een engelse caravan met werkelijk alle luxe voor Europese begrippen, douche, kleedcabine, oven, grill en buitengrill.
Zelfs een extra rolwatertank zit erbij. Tevens een mover (twee electromotoren) laten monteren om dat ding op eigen kracht op zijn plek
Te laten rijden, want ruim 1500 kg doe ik niet alleen hoor! Besturen doe je dat met een remote control, grappig om te zien op de camping!
Oke, nog een weekje en dan gaan we weer aan het werk en dan zetten we onze caravan weer op zijn vaste campingplek in Zeewolde
En zijn dan daar weer voor de weekends, waar ook de kinderen ons weer vaak bezoeken en lekker barbequen.
Oke, ik hoop je weer een beetje bijgepraat te hebben en doe jullie ook namens Francisca weer de hartelijke groeten vanuit
